LaMar Giles

A sudden breeze
moves me more
than music nowadays
spending time laughing at
shallow singers surf
radio waves
listening in dismay
to the same six songs
spinning in a death defying rotation
until somebody sings along
another day
another person programmed
by a radio station

LaMar Giles’ poetry has appeared in Nomad’s Choir, Sensations Magazine, Shadows Ink Poetry Chapbook, and The Poetry Explosion Newsletter

(The PEN). In addition, LaMar studied art history in Paris, France, and holds a B.A. in English from Rutgers University. Although he’s an aspiring actor, he devotes a lot of time to poetry.
